Job Description

Position: Installation Manager

Job Summary:

Your role in our team:

  • You will perform on-site technical and operation management
  • You will oversee and manage 3rd party installation subcontractors to successfully deliver project installations
  • You will help identify additional opportunities including time and material work
  • You will perform the review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provide continual guidance throughout task duration
  • You will perform site inspections after installation in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • You will complete and submit regular reports covering all jobsite activities
  • You will ensure that the company-issued tools for the job site are tested, kept secure, and kept in good condition
  • You will represent the Company at customer premises in a professional manner at all times
  • You will comply with all company policies, procedures, and practices through consistent work practices
  • You will ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the company Code of Business Conduct
  • You will adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act work, and in compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
  • You will report any unsafe conditions, unsafe acts or defects in any equipment or protective device
  • You will ensure that the required personal protective equipment (PPE) is used for the assigned tasks
  • You will report any accidents/incidents
  • You will complete appropriate company documentation in accordance with company procedures
  • You will attend all training programs and project related meetings
  • You will investigate assigned service appointments and preform repairs as needed
  • You will complete measurements of windows and doors based on sold contract and specify on the re-measure form if any additional equipment or material are required to complete the job
  • You will co-ordinate scheduling for jobs, services, and make appropriate deliveries or pick-ups for job sites
  • You will be setting customer expectations on installs; advise customers of issues and possible solutions while being courteous and kind
  • You will complete service call reports, order necessary stock supplies

Your profile:

  • You have 5+ years experience of replacement window, door, and siding installation experience
  • You are experienced in applying complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular area of specialization
  • You are familiar with continuous improvement processes and methodologies
  • You are fluent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint etc.) and Windows operating systems
  • You have a strong command of the English language with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • You are self-motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges and tasks
  • You are comfortable working in fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • You are dependable with a great work ethic and attendance
  • You have the ability to demonstrate and apply a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments
  • You have successfully applied complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization
  • You have demonstrated knowledge of organization’s business practices and issues
  • You are able to travel up to 100% of the time to customer locations
  • You are flexible in working hours between days, weekends and willing to work additional hours in order to meet deadlines
  • You are physically able to lift up to 80 lbs unassisted, climb ladders
  • You have the ability to be flexible to changing work conditions and assignments and work well independently and on a team
  • You have strong leadership development skills
  • You have strong customer service background
  • You have a valid driving license and clean driver abstract
